Fasting Chronicles – Day 3: The Finish Line and the Fire Within

Day 3 of this water fast. No food in 60+ hours. Just water, black coffee, and tea.

At this point, I’m on autopilot. Hunger isn’t really the issue anymore—it’s almost like my body gave up asking. The real challenge now is mental. It’s keeping myself occupied without spiraling into obsessive food fantasies. I’ve already planned five imaginary meals I’ll never make.

My senses are ridiculous. My vision’s sharper—my glasses feel useless because everything’s suddenly too clear. And my nose? I could probably smell a Pop-Tart from a mile away. I feel like an elite hunting machine, exactly how nature intended. There is nothing more dangerous than a hungry animal with free time.

📊 KetoScan Data Check – May 16, 2025 @ 9:00 AM

  • Weight: 75.7 kg
  • Body Fat: 11.4%
  • Ketone Reading: 8.3 PPM – Level 8
  • Fat Burning Rate: ~6g/hour
  • Status: Deep ketosis, autophagy fully active

My brain is sharp. Like unnaturally focused. I wrote for two hours this morning straight. Thoughts just clicked.

This is the point where the benefits stack: increased HGH (human growth hormone), reduced inflammation, enhanced insulin sensitivity. According to a study published in Cell Metabolism, fasting for 72 hours can trigger a full immune system regeneration.

So yeah—it’s not just spiritual. It’s biological.

By now, my body’s fully shifted to fat for fuel. I’m in deep ketosis. And the discipline? Locked in. I feel like I could say no to anything. That’s what I love most about fasting. It’s not just detox—it’s defiance. It’s telling every bad habit in your body: “You’re not the boss.”

My plan tonight is simple: early sleep, no distractions, and maybe a gratitude journal entry for the peace this process brought me.

Would I recommend fasting? Not without doing your research. But if you’re ready to meet the version of yourself that doesn’t need a crutch, Day 3 is where he lives.

I’m almost at 72 hours. And you know what? I feel light. Not just physically—but emotionally. Like I’ve burned off more than just calories.

This is what freedom feels like.
